William Morris tour finale

The hardest part of being on tour is that it has to come to an end.....but we have made new friends, caught up with old friends and have some incredible memories. So here is a quick look at our last days....we visited All Saints Church Selsey where all stained glass windows were from Morris and Co......

This is what greeted us complete with Morris cloths.....
and we were very lucky to see the remains of the flower festival - just beautiful......

....very 'Morris' like kneelers......

The stained glass was breath taking with many images of Morris, Burne Jones and Janie hidden in the faces.....
The outside view of one window above and inside below......

The embroidered alter cloth was stitched in 1894 ......absolutely exquisite.....

I am going to leave Chipping Camden for next tour....and lots more of course!!

The final night was full of celebration as we reflected on our journey....photos in a day or so. Now time for a little break before the next tour...and a little bit of this for Larry!

So until next time - take care wherever you are
