Stitching with Beatrix Potter Projects

PLEASE NOTE: There is an error in the international version of the book from C&T Publishing. The last sentence in Step 3, Page 13 needs to be removed. (Delete "Cut the second side at 2 1/2"). There is a note on their website here: Errata and Updates. This is only for the C&T version of the book and not my Limited Edition book.

These are the projects in the book which you can purchase by clicking HERE

The book is full of all sorts of patterns and ideas where you can create your own individual pieces in either appliqué or embroidery. All projects have photographic step by step instructions and I am always just an email away if you need help!

  1. I love this new book. You are so talented

  2. Your book calls for wool felt. I find blended wool with rayon on Amazon. Is that acceptable? I love the book!

    1. Hi Sandra, I do hope you get this message as your profile is not connected to an email address. I prefer wool felt as it doesn't stretch like some felts do. I haven't tried the blended wool with rayon so I would be interested to see how it is for you.....if it looks like it might stretch maybe give it a good wash before using it to help "felt" it a little but it may shrink a bit. Hope this helps and happy stitching x

  3. Thank you for such a delightful hour looking through your blog again Michele. Cheers Glenda Kuranda near Cairns FNQLD>

  4. PS, "Serendipity" is a masterpiece! Oh So so beautiful.

  5. I love your Stitching with Beatrix Potter book and want to make the Handmade Hexies quilt. Can you please tell me the finished size in inches? Thank you in advance from England.

    1. This was one of those silly things I did in the book.....all the measurements of the finished projects are in the front of the book on the "Contents" page! I am so sorry I didn't put the measurements with each project as well. So the Handmade Hexie quilt is 33 1/2" x 36 1/2" but you could make it bigger by making more hexies! Good luck (and i hope you get this message as there was no email linked to your comment) Best wishes, Michele x
