I started this blog just before I released my very first book William Morris in Applique over 18 years ago with the purpose of focusing on the life of William Morris. The blog was also a great way to reach to others across the globe and I am so grateful for the many friendships both in person and online that have occurred during this time.....thankyou. The most memorable times were the William Morris tours that I had the privilege of being a part of both in Adelaide and especially the UK tours with dearest Helen......Larry and I will be forever grateful.........

But times and lives have changed and the blog has became more personal with life in general. I have only posted once this year so maybe it is time to close the blog forever...who knows? For now Larry and I get immense pleasure reminiscing and I am so glad I recorded so many of these special times so we can go back and look anytime we like.  So for memory sake only some random images and thoughts starting with our wee garden......

We enjoy the birds that visit the garden as well.......

Some of our local wildlife inspired me to make some new stitched pieces for an exhibition next year........and I experimented with stitching nests as well....

We always look forward to our local Yankalilla Agricultural Show and the home grown and baked goodies are always wonderful to see......

Life seems to still throws us unplanned events and both Larry and I spent some time in hospital (not at the same time!!),..but the views were great.....
The weather seems to continue to be a frequent topic of discussion and we were certainly blessed with some incredible rainfall during Winter. So we drove up to see the highest our reservoir has been in a long while. We are grateful for that as they are predicting a serious drought in the coming months.......
The nearby river actually had water in it (!!), so like many we went to see how it had carved out the local beach.....
So there ends my post of past events from us! If you've come this far we wish you a warm cheerio and you never know we might cross paths again one day. I will leave you with an image I captured one morning that I love.......
