That seaside daisy has come up throughout the entire garden and it makes a great ground cover and happy show. The sweet peas are sprouting but Larry is still Larry's cough, cough, coughing!
We've still managed our childcare duties and on this sunny day last week beside the seaside Maisie joined us as well. Beside the playground an enterprising "Audrey" had set up selling coffee........
Sophie shared these delightful photos during the past couple of weeks........
including these from their visit to the Royal Adelaide Show where the farm animals were a big hit..........
On September 8th I had a wonderful time at PennyLane Patchwork's first "Seaside Indulgence Day" sharing a little William Morris and Beatrix Potter with 90 keen stitchers......
and the views were wonderful.......
Almost at the same time the Beatrix Potter Society in the UK were holding their 18th biennial conference and Lynne who was attending (all the way from Australia), kindly sent me these images of my reproduction wedding quilt displayed at Hill Top for delegates to see. Thankyou so much Lynne for sending me the images (and of you too!)........
Thanks again for dropping by.......just a brief 'touching base' post! This week I am preparing for the fourth William Morris in Adelaide Tour so I am hoping for perfect Spring weather......
Finally my 'happiness is' from yesterday and something I definitely enjoy..........
Good to hear from you, hope Larry's cough soon improves, and spring is coming, I can hear the birds singing even though it's still cold.
ReplyDeleteHope Larry is better soon! Lovely pictures of the littlies.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely flowers, especially the Spiraea (?). Wade is looking so good as does Maisie. Wow teaching 90 ladies. How nice to revisit your wonderful quilt. Praying Larry's cough goes away.
