Family always comes first

I know my absence from the blog has been noted but we are all okay.......thankyou for the emails to see how we are! ❤️ We have had an incredibly stressful time that started eight days ago when our second daughter was rushed to hospital by ambulance from work. I won't go into the details but suffice to say we were living hour by hour then day by day with progress news as she was 28 weeks pregnant.  Her condition deteriorated on Sunday so she was taken to surgery and delivered a dear little boy, Wade Edwin weighing a tiny 1000gms (2lbs). Larry is chuffed to bits as his middle name is Edwin and my late brother was Edwin Christopher (but he was always called Chris). Tim and Sophie have been incredibly brave through this life changing experience and we know little Wade has a long road ahead........
We are so thankful that we live where we do and little Wade is in a world class neonatal unit. Such a precious little life that we weren't expecting until the middle of January.......

  2. so tiny - I had noticed you weren't posting for awhile but thought you were catching up on rest after the last show you attended. This must have been scaring for the whole family. such an early baby but he looks perfect doesn't he. A long road to go before he leaves the hospital I'm sure - I'm glad you were there and not traveling abroad.

  6. I hope Sophie is ok now and that little Wade thrives and grows strong, surrounded by our love and prayers. Take some quiet time for yourself too dear Michele, as it's such a stressful time for you all and being a midwife your kniwledge can be a blessing and a curse at these times. Much love, Jan xx

  8. Oh dear, Wade was in a hurry to get started, wasn't he! I agree, SA has such good medical neonatal facilities - have had to use them twice and they are superstars. Wade looks lovely and strong for a 2 pound baby and he is completely in the best place. You are all in my thoughts. Suzie xx
