First of all a big thank you to every-one for leaving your comments...it is lovely that you are enjoying our travels too. Last night we left Quebec and travelled to Montreal - but first a few last sights from Quebec. We set off in the early evening for Montmorency Falls. These falls are 83 meters which is apparently 30 meters higher than Niagara) The view looking back to Quebec and then the falls.......
It was a short climb and then we witnessed spectacular views and the deafening sound of water.......
Larry is not so good at heights and a little way along he returned for a reassuring chat on the suspension bridge......
And this is a photo that our tour director showed us today of the falls in winter...they actually freeze over!!
And below is a photo of the lower city that I took......
and then almost the same view in Winter.....
When we returned to our hotel we decided to go for a very chilly walk...but it was well worth it. You might wonder why the fountain is pink....the cities have been draped in pink for breast cancer awareness month.......
The cruise liner at night.......
I will save the first sights of Montreal for the next post as Larry is getting hungry for dinner!
